How big should my first check be?

Or rather how much cash should I have. I just got a job and work 8$ hourly. I'm schedules to work 44 hours my first to weeks plus a 3 hour orientation. I could calculate it myself but I dint know much taxes they will take out? Im only 17 sooo maybe that will they. I'm dependant on my parents as well.
