I want to buy tv of 46 inches.i was in confusion in either plasma is better or led is better?

i want to buy tv of 46 inches.some willl tell that plasma is better when compared to led and some will tell that led is better i was in confusion. i was decided to buy tv either in thi following company only samsung or sony please tell me plasma is better or led is better
