Can i be offline for only one person while being on facebook and not the rest of people?PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!?

i have thi guy that keeps talking to me but i dont want to talk to him back and i dont want to defreind him or go offline.but i want to talk to my to other friends too.is there anyway that i can only make myself offline for him, and not the rest of my friends?please help!i saw there was a list thing to go on and offline for people, i tried putting his name and it didnt work?PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!
