Pharmacy technician hourly pay?

I start going to school in the fall to become a pharmacy technician in South Carolina. However, when I research the average salary on Google, I don't believe I'm getting an accurate number. I have been to salary.com etc... and I feel like the amount of pay is significantly lower here because of the cost of living. Anyone know someone in this field who could give me a pay range in this area? Thank you.
